for Swedish Colonial Society Reception Thursday, 27 October 2011
The Swedish Colonial Society will host a reception for HRH Prince Daniel, Duke of Västergötland, during his first official program in the United States celebrating our ties with Sweden: “Culture & Commerce, A Bridge to the Future.” Special guests include the Society’s Patron His Excellency Jonas Hofström, Ambassador of Sweden and Carla Markell, First Lady of Delaware.
The reception will be held 27 October 2011 in the Christina Ballroom of the Chase Riverfront Center, 815 Justison Street, Wilmington, Delaware between 3:15 – 5:15 PM. All guests are to be seated by 3:30 PM. Dress is business attire, decorations and folk dress.
The event is open to members and friends of the Swedish Council of America affiliate organizations. Invitations have been sent to many who belong to one or more of the regional Swedish heritage organizations.
